  • Personal Information means information that identifies or can be used to identify you as an individual, such as your name, email, phone number, address, date of birth, photograph, etc.
  • Sensitive Personal Information includes passwords, financial data (other than truncated card digits), official identifiers (passport, Aadhaar, etc.), biometric data, health data, information about race, religion, sexual orientation, or other "special categories" of data under applicable law.
  • Use of the word "you" means you as a Learner of the Platform; "we" and "us" means DGVEDA.

What Information We Collect?

We may collect the following types of information:

c. Cookies and similar tracking technologies for the purposes of improving your experience, remembering preferences, customising content, and tracking aggregate usage patterns.

How We Use Your Information?

We use information we collect in the following ways:

  • To provide you access to the Platform and its services (course enrolment, content delivery, customer support).
  • To personalise, understand and improve our Platform and our service offering.
  • To communicate with you (e.g., confirmations, updates, promotional messages about new courses or features) - unless you opt out of marketing communications.
  • To maintain security, detect fraud or abuse, enforce our Terms of Use, and protect the rights, safety or property of DGVEDA, our learners and others.

  • If required by law, regulation, legal process or governmental request; or to protect the rights, safety or property of DGVEDA, our learners or others.
  • In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets of DGVEDA, your information may be transferred to the relevant third-party (subject to notice).
  • With your consent, or as otherwise described in this Policy.

We use cookies and similar technologies to enable features of the Platform, remember your preferences, recognise you when you return, measure promotional effectiveness and personalise content. You may choose to disable cookies via your browser settings - however, doing so may impair some features of the Platform.

Data Retention

We will retain your Personal Information for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including to comply with legal obligations, settle disputes, enforce agreements, and for operational needs. Some of your information (for example public comments, feedback you uploaded) may remain after your account is closed, though we will attempt to remove your identity where feasible.

If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us (see "Contact Us" below). We may require verification of your identity before responding to requests.

Our Platform may include links to external websites or services operated by third parties. We have no control over their content or practices. We recommend you review the terms and privacy policies of those third parties before providing any personal information.
